Our First Official Day of Summer

Yesterday we walked our oldest daughter to the bus for her last day of first grade.

We ended the day outside enjoying the nice weather and that feeling of freedom that summer brings.

But this morning, our first official day of summer, we awoke to a thunderstorm and it will most likely rain all day.

At least we're not running to the bus stop, so we'll take a little rain.
